I thought it might be helpful to offer a comprehensive round-up of everyone who has been, or will be, providing blogging coverage during the Pope's visit. Judging from the list so far, it leans heavily male. They include:
AmericanPapist - D.C. blogger Thomas Peters' coverage (pictured at left).
Pope2008.com - the National Catholic Register's coverage of the Pope's visit to the U.S. and Australia by Tim Drake (pictured at left interviewing Denver Archbishop Charles Chaput).
Benedict in America - blogger Christopher Blosser's coverage of the Papal Visit.
Benedict in America - LoHud.com's papal visit coverage headed up by Gary Stern (pictured at left).
Papal Visit - the Washington Times' Papal Visit blog.
Papal Visit News Blog - Our Sunday Visitor's coverage from editor John Norton (pictured at left).
Pope Watch - The Washington Post's blog on the Pope's Visit.
USCCB's Papal Visit Blog - the official blog from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Update:
Benedict Bulletin - Tracy Simmons' blog at the Waterbury Republican American.
CNS Blog - Catholic News Services' blog, spearheaded by Jim Lackey, which will feature various reporters' stories from the different papal venues.
In addition, live streaming video will be available at various sites on the web. They include:
Pope2008.com - Live streaming video from EWTN coupled with live blogging.
EWTN - The Eternal Word Television Network.
Popecast - Newsweek's video coverage.
Pope in America - CatholicTV's web coverage.
If I've forgotten any, please let me know.

I'd like to let everyone know about the Waterbury Republican American's papal blog too!

Don't forget Catholic News Service's newly renamed "CNS Blog" (at http://newshub.cnslis.com/). It will be very active during the trip with insights from reporters on the scene at the various venues.

I also will be providing blogging coverage of Pope Benedict's visit to DC as the family and I (armed with a laptop) are making the trek from SC with tickets to the Papal Mass in hand.
My coverage will start a couple days ahead of time as we prepare to go and cover the trip.

If I may promote my own cause, charitable donations would be welcome to the *Help Chad See the Pope* fund!
