Every pilgrim, when they register for WYD, will receive a WYD backpack (first look at the backpack at right). The Daily Telegraph has a story that the packing of the backpacks by Australian students is ahead of schedule.
From the story:
Already 200,000 backpacks have been prepared, with each containing 10 items - books, pens, bandanas, rosary beads, ponchos, water bottles, clip-on koalas, kinetic torches, thermal blankets and tattoos.
